Why You Should Consider Co-Workers as Fellow Church Members

"What if when you were building your business, you were actually building the church?"Lonnie Gienger

Ecclesia: It's defined as a political or civic assembly of citizens in ancient Greece.

The word was derived from the Greek and means to "call out" or "summon," so it means a "called assembly." In biblical usage, it means the assembly called by God, or in other words, "the church." So, what if, today, we applied the word ecclesia to our workplace?

What if we saw it as an assembly of people that God created, and that God brought together to labor together for a common purpose? Both believers and the nonbelievers. Because, really, isn't the nonbeliever just a believer-in-waiting?

We invite you to consider your co-workers as fellow church members (or potential church members or believers-in-waiting) today.
